Maya Suchak, a current Individual Studies student, and two alumni are among the 14 finalists in 15 Minutes Max. The sixth annual film festival for students within a 50-mile radius of Albany is sponsored by the College of Saint Rose.
Films by Gregory Ramirez, a 2017 Digital Media graduate, and Adams Richards, a 2015 Digital Media graduate, also are among the finalists. The finalist films were culled from submissions made in May 2017.
A free screening of the finalist films is Saturday, Sept. 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Madison Theater, 1036 Madison Ave., Albany. Juried prizes, ranging from $50 to $200, are awarded.
An interview with Rezart Bushati, another Hudson Valley Community College student, is featured on the 15 Minutes Max blog site. His submission was a film entitled “Hidden Music.”
